The Handbook of
Roman Imperial Coins
by David VanMeter
This 334 page soft cover book is, in my opinion, one of the best quick reference guides dealing with Roman Imperial Coins. It covers all major coin types between 27BC and 498AD. The first 58 pages of this guide contains extensive background material to help you become familiar with the basics of Roman Coins.  Highly recommended for the new collector. – 2 available
Roman Republican Coinage

Crawford’s Roman Republican Coinage has become the standard reference on the subject. This work is divided into two volumes. Volume I is 566 pages and contains the Introduction and Catalogue. Volume two contains studies and plates. I use my personal copy of Crawford on very regular basis and find it indispensible resource. This copy is in like new condition with no marks or wear.

These coin flips will allow you to store your coins without worry of damage from the volatile compounds that can be released by standard vinyl flips.  These flips are currently used by the American Numismatic Society, numerous libraries and museums, and are the only flips I use at Aeternitas Coins.
